Anyway

My 8-year old daughter came home from school with a new expression.

She rolls her eyes and says “Anyway.” It’s perfect.

You don’t feel like it today? Anyway.

You’re an introvert and don’t feel like reaching out to that person? Anyway.

You’re an extrovert and haven’t found time for self-reflection? Anyway.

You can’t find the energy to workout today? Anyway.

Think that doing “most” of the duties prescribed to the supervisor is enough? Anyway.

Think your rank/title/position isn’t enough to make a difference? Anyway.

Think you’ll find time for what you want to do when life “slows down” next month/year? Anyway.

Today is the day. The only day you’ll ever be given.

So do it.

Any way you can.

Anyway.
