Water is persistent.

It’s not intelligent, it’s not talented, it’s not competitive, but it changes our landscape. Google images of the Grand Canyon. It wasn’t made by talented engineers, competitive teams, or talented scientists…but by the persistence of water.

Sometimes the largest obstacles and biggest goals in our lives can beat us if we think they require more talent, more intelligence…more. But often, we can get everything we want (or get beyond that obstacle) by simply doing what we do…again, and again, and again.

The world is full of talented (more educated, intelligent, etc.) people who do not persist. You have the choice everyday…to persist or quit. To keep trying or give up.

Sometimes it’s not about being better, it’s about “being” longer.
