Periodically in every organization, people are hurt. In large organizations, this can happen weekly (or even daily). At times, it can seem endless.
With the 24-hour news cycle recording, playing and replaying terrible and tragic events in the world, it can feel hard to break away from the pain and the pessimism.
Do this. Every morning, write down three things you are grateful for. It sounds ridiculously simple. And it works. I’ve been doing it for 2 years now. Throughout the day, this grateful moment reappears. And I’m reminded how precious the world we live in is.
