You’re Busy and Getting Less Accomplished

You and your team are doing more inspections, more investigations, more reports, more analysis, more presentations, and more training than ever before. You are busy!

But what if it’s not enough? What if what we track for performance isn’t right?

What if:

We conduct inspections and audits yet never add value?

We investigate yet never find the real cause nor provide corrective action?

We publish reports that fill the block yet no one reads (or takes action on)?

We train (and receive training) and then everyone just goes back to work?

We pay people based on the hours they work instead of what they produce or solve?

We finish our to-do list and the problem is still there?

What if?

In the words of Seth Godin: “We can’t out-obedience the competition.”

How will you do what needs to be done instead of doing what “counts”?
